Dania’s card show

As 2018 comes to a close we are making some changes going into the new year. The first of which is a NEW location starting with our first show of 2019
which will be January 12,13. The new venue is much larger and will allow us to have more dealers thus enhancing your experience at the show. Show will be held in their ballroom. Also show is going to be renamed South Florida Sports Card Show so if you see that name in future emails you will know its our show. We are also revamping our website and will have a Facebook page for our customers and dealers to go on. The new website and Facebook pages should be up and going early 2019 and I will send out the info as soon as they are ready.

We want to take this opportunity to thank the great people over at the Germack Event Center. They were excellent hosts of our show and helped our events to go off without a hitch.

Taste of Jazz

Join us for a new kind of combo! A Taste of Jazz at Bailey Contemporary Arts in Pompano Beach will feature entertaining and educational encounters with the musical genre, accompanied by wine tastings. The introduction to jazz series will showcase the musicians of the Gold Coast Jazz Society Band, under the direction of Martin Hand. Engraved in Pompano

The Pompano Beach Cultural Center presents their newest exhibition, Engraved. This collaboration with The Buenos Aires Editing Center in Argentina and the Latin American Art Pavilion Project (LAAP) celebrates the work of women in the visual arts field. Forty European and Latin American female artists from Argentina, Austria, Ecuador and Venezuela will present their work utilizing lithography, printmaking, digital drawing, and graphics. Third Annual Family Fun Day at Tradewinds Park North

Ren Fest 2019

The Renaissance was a fascinating period in history when Europe made the transition from the Dark Ages into the modern era. The transformation was marked by revelry and excess in costume and cuisine, which are demonstrated each year in a reenactment at Quiet Waters Park in Deerfield Beach. The 2019 Florida Renaissance Festival marks the event’s 27th anniversary.

Day/Dates: Saturdays and Sundays, February 9-10, 16-17, and 23-24, and March 2-3, 9-10, 16-17, and 23-24, 2019, plus School Day on Monday, February 11. School Day is open only to schools that have preregistered. Each weekend has a specific theme.

Fees: Daily admission for the festival is $25 for ages 12 and up and $12 for ages 6 to 11 at the box office. Group rates and season passes are also available. Ages 5 and under are admitted free. The park’s regular weekend/holiday gate fee ($1.50/person, ages 5 and under free) will be in effect. Tickets purchased online will incur additional convenience fees.
