Paul Reiser live

Comedian, actor, television writer, author, and musician Paul Reiser has spent the last 30+ years acting in Oscar and Emmy award-winning movies and TV shows. He was voted one of Comedy Central’s “Top 100 Comedians of All Time.” Reiser joined the cast of Netflix’s ‘Stranger Things’ for the series’ highly anticipated second season, which was released in October and recently renewed for a third season. In a role created by the Duffer brothers with him specifically in mind, Reiser played Dr. Owens, a high-ranking member of the Department of Energy who is brought to the small town to investigate the supernatural situations at play. Additionally, Reiser has been cast in the latest project of ‘Mad Men’ showrunner Matthew Weiner, ‘The Romanoffs.’ The forthcoming Amazon mini-series is centered around the modern-day descendants of the mysterious Romanov dynasty. Religiosity & Civilization

The Pompano Beach Cultural Center, in collaboration with the Latin American Art Pavilion (LAAP), presents a glorious new exhibit curated by Anaibis Yero, featuring the art work of over a dozen acclaimed photographers, painters and printmakers. Documenta is an annual exhibition the Latin American Art Pavilion has created to be a social message through the visual arts. This year’s theme has been “Religiosity & Civilization.”

This exhibit addresses broad and complicated issues that affect the social life, the philosophical world and the religious aspect of human beings. Through each artist’s vision, viewers are introduced to various religious expressions, scenes and interpretations. The result is a great mosaic of faith, showing that although the rituals are specific to each of the religious beliefs, they all point towards the same goal.
