1st Annual Put 4 Paws Golf Tournament
Paws 4 You Rescue, Inc. cordially invites you to participate on September 17th, 2007 in our First Annual Putt 4 Paws Charity Golf Tournament, hosted by Bimini Bay Resort and Calusa Country Club. Paws 4 You Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)3 Florida Non-Profit Organization whose sole purpose is saving the lives of abandoned or stray dogs. Miami Dade County euthanizes between 100-150 pets everyday. Many times, these animals came from a loving home and are simply lost. This organization tries to remove as many of these dogs from impending demise. We then try to locate their original families or place them in another loving home, because every life deserves a second chance. All proceeds from this event will directly benefit Paws 4 You Rescue in our efforts to save the lives of pets. On average, each rescued pet incurs approximately $500 in various expenses, ranging from vet bills to boarding costs. This year’s event will be filled with incredible prizes – ranging from a Bimini vacation for 8 to a Bushnell Pin Seeker Range Finder. The Norton Museum Medieval And Renaissance Treasures
This exhibition will feature medieval and Renaissance treasures ranging in date from the late Roman Empire to about 1600. These works were originally intended for the embellishment of the church and chapel in the Middle Ages, and for the cabinet of wealthy Renaissance collectors. Even then, these precious works were highly prizes for their beauty, the value of their materials and for their exquisite workmanship. Included are 44 superb works in various media-ivory, wood, bronze, metalwork, stained glass, and manuscripts – one of the unique masterpieces is an illustrated sketchbook by Leonardo da Vinci known as the Foster Codex III.
