Ancient City Con 2019

ptember 20 to 22, 2019, at the Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village in St. Augustine.

This is the 12th Annual Ancient City Con, and it means to be one of the best ever, with special guests including Matt Frewer, Terrance Zdunick, Lauren Landa, Jon Campling, and Gerald Home, just to name a few. For a full list of guests, visit here.

Visitors to the comic convention can dress up in cosplay, partake in table gaming, and attend panels, photo ops, and other scheduled events, including lots of gaming.

Tickets
Available tickets include a day pass, a weekend pass, and a VIP pass. Day passes are $15 for Friday, $20.00 for Saturday, and $15.00 for Sunday. A weekend pass is $35.00. An additional processing fee is added on when tickets are purchased online.

A VIP Pass is available for $60.00, which includes admission for the whole weekend, including early entry show hours, door gift bags with exclusive show art and special hours, as well as a VIP party. The Ultra VIP Pass includes a two-night stay ons-te and much more — visit here for details.

Wand Classes will be available for $25.00 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

We have dates locked in for the rest of the year at our current location listed below. We want to thank the staff at the Sawgrass Inn for all their help.

We are happy to have our friends at SGC attending the show on Saturday from 9-2. They will be accepting submissions for card grading at our show. As a service to our customers any card submitted on a 10 day service will be able to be picked up at our show the following month. Cost of this service is $15 a card and some exclusions apply. Please check the SGC website for details.

For all your autograph authentication needs JSA will be present both Friday and Saturday doing onsite authentication of your sports and entertainment autographs.

Fort Lauderdale Story Slam: Whodunnit?!?

Best known from this past season of NBC’s hit show, “America’s Got Talent,” Preacher Lawson was a Top 5 Finalist on the show’s highest-rated season to date. Seining the Lagoon

Wading in the Intracoastal Waterway just behind Gumbo Limbo, we catch (and release) fish, shrimp, crabs, and more!  With hand-held dip nets and large seine nets, get up close and personal with our local marine life.

Guided Nature Walk

Join us for a FREE guided walk along the Ashley Trail, a quarter-mile natural trail that winds through the Butterfly Garden, Coastal Hammock, and Mangroves, to a sandy beach by the Intracoastal.  Observe local flora and fauna as your naturalist guides you on this island exploration.

Outdoor Marine Aquarium Feedings

What is the connection between mangrove and coral reef communities?  How do fish use these habitats?  Learn about the fascinating behaviors of native fish, stingrays, and other marine life during these daily feeding presentations.
