Avoid Cabin Fever. Broward County’s Natural Areas – Here for You to Enjoy!

The next time you’re climbing the walls with COVID-19 cabin fever, remember: There’s a dozen natural areas in the Broward County park system, and all but one (Deerfield Highlands Nature Preserve) are again open, seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The sites are easily accessible but also minimally developed, so that appropriate social distancing poses no problem, leaving you free to enjoy the natural beauty of the trails and their flora and fauna.
