Pumkin Destruction Day

a creative Fall Family Fun Day at The Rock Ranch that allows families to recycle their old pumpkins and Jack-O-Lanterns into fun memories. Over the years, the event has continued to evolve and grow. We add new ways to smash pumpkins each year. About 6 years ago, the folks at Chase's Calendar of Events (the official list of all holidays and occasions worth celebrating) designated the Saturday after Halloween each year as "National Pumpkin Destruction Day". Now other farms around the U.S. celebrate the holiday we invented - which is awesome because it keeps more pumpkins out of the landfills (turns 'em into useful dirt or compost) and helps more families have fun. We're all about Growing Healthy Families. Please come join us and B.Y.O.P - or smash one of ours(while they last). We travel all over collecting unsold pumpkins from pumpkin patches and we stage them here at the ranch for guests to come and smash. Smash it Don't Trash It! For more information, go to therockranch.com.
