Sea Turtle Day

General Information
Join us at Gumbo Limbo Nature Center for our annual Sea Turtle Day Festival as we celebrate sea turtles! This fun-filled family day of environmental education will be packed with exciting things to see and do, including presentations, face painting, aquarium feedings, children’s theater, guided tours, crafts, exhibitors, and more!

All ages. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Entrance to the festival is free; suggested donation of $5 per person.
Some activities require a fee (see Programs & Activities).
There is not an ATM machine onsite.
The Festival will take place rain or shine.
Proper attire is required; no bathing suits or bare feet.
No smoking, including e-cigarettes and vaping.
No pets.
Restrooms are in the Food Court, Nature Center, and outside the Classroom.
Lost and Found is located at the Information Tent.
There is no parking at Gumbo Limbo Nature Center the day of the event or the day before. Drop-offs/pick-ups are not permitted in front of Gumbo Limbo during the festival (see Parking).
Parking
Free parking and complimentary shuttle services are being offered. Please park in Spanish River Park, as there will be no on-site parking for the day of the event. More…

Exhibitors
Visit our Exhibitors throughout our property, including the Exhibitor Loop (south parking lot), Butterfly Garden, Amphitheater, Classroom, and Aquariums. Learn what organizations and companies will be attending by visiting the Exhibitor page.

Food & Drink
A variety of food trucks will be attending. Preview them here. Please “Go Green” and bring your own refillable bottle to the Festival. Visit one of the Hydration Stations to refill your water bottle for FREE!
