Ready to party? Broward County Library is hosting great Friday night events – $10 includes drinks, music, food and entertainment. That’s easy on your wallet and hard to resist! “Friday Night at the Library” events are held on the first Friday of select months at various library locations. Open to anyone 21 or over, the parties include a signature cocktail, light buffet featuring themed food, music, cultural presentations, art exhibits, performances, giveaways and more. Fort Lauderdale Story Slam: Whodunnit?!?

male speaker at 2018 story slam An Evening of True Stories of Double, Crosses, Secret Admirers, Guilty Secrets and Mysteries of All Kinds! This live storytelling competition featuring eight storytellers telling their own true tales of mystery and fun, interactive storytelling games for the audience. Doors open at 6PM and there’ll be live music before the Slam starts at 7PM. Tickets are $15 general admission and $10 students/seniors when purchased online at Eventbrite and $20 general admission and $15 students/seniors at the door.
