The tradition goes back to 1985, when it was established by the National Recreation and Park Association to remind people of the many benefits of parks and recreation. Dial in on a mountain bike trail, speed down a five-story tall waterslide, learn about sea turtles, glide through the Everglades on an airboat ride, have a family reunion. #GameOnBroward – it’s summertime and the living is easy
