December Hammock Happenings
Join us online this winter break to learn about the differences in four sea turtle species and discover why Florida is so important to their survival. Each virtual session will include group interactions, home activities, and craft ideas to get your child outside exploring and learning about nature. Register for one or both days.
Day 1: Leatherbacks and Loggerheads
Day 2: Green Sea Turtles and Hawksbills
Winter Break: Grades 1-3, December 28 and 29
All virtual sessions are 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.
Cost per child per day: Member/Resident $10, Non-Member/Non-resident $12.

December Virtual Programs
Little Wonders and Nature Detectives
Join us, at your convenience, for a virtual nature exploration. This pre-recorded monthly program includes a nature lesson, story-time videos, and a free craft kit. Visit our website on (or after) December 12 to follow along with our craft demonstration and enjoy a read-aloud story time.
Call 561-544-8612 to reserve your free craft kit, available for scheduled pickup on December 9 and 11. Supplies are limited. Ask about craft packets from previous months!

The Science of Nature
Join us on Facebook Live for a naturalist guided lesson on coastal ecology topics.
Recommended for ages 10-adult.

Seashell Creations
Nature provides a bounty of beautiful materials for decorating and crafts. The ocean is especially generous with her gifts; people have been using seashells for thousands of years to create clothing, jewelry, and décor. Here is your chance to learn to use shells in unique holiday creations. In a pre-recorded video, you will get to see imaginative holiday decorations and we will take you step by step through a shell craft demo. Free craft kits will be available for pickup while supplies last, beginning December 15. Call 561-544-8605 to reserve your kit.
