South Florida Fair

The annual fair held in West Palm Beach, Florida, every January or February. The fairgrounds site occupies 100 acres (0.40 km2; 0.16 sq mi) and is located on the site of the former Palm Beach Speedway at the intersection of Southern Boulevard and Fairground Road. It is set up to make it adjacent to the Cruzan Amphitheatre. Nearly 500,000 people attended the South Florida Fair each year.

The fair features a midway of rides, games, and concessions, themed exhibition halls, an agricultural and livestock agriplex, and smaller exhibition areas. There is also Yesteryear Village, a history park on the northeastern corner of the property.

Riverwalk Stone Crab And Seafood Festival

Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale is proud to have the 3rd Annual Stone Crab & Seafood Festival Presented by Grille 401 on Saturday, January 11, 2011 from 11am – 5pm at Esplanade Park in downtown Fort Lauderdale. The festival is a free celebration of the local South Florida Seafood Industry and highlights some of Fort Lauderdale’s favorite seafood restaurants as they serve up fresh stone crab claws and an array of select seafood dishes. Seafood lovers of all ages are welcome to come out rain or shine and enjoy a day of great food, drinks, live music, games (including the crowd-favorite hermit crab races), prizes and more!
