Cajun Zydeco Festival Comes To South Florida

The Cajun Zydeco Festival, produced by National Award Winning Bobby Rodriguez Productions, Inc., opens at Quiet Waters park in Deerfield Beach, Florida on May 19 at 5:30pm to 11:30pm, May 20th at 11:30am to 11:30pm and on Sunday at 11:30am to 7pm.

This festival will give people an entertaining, cultural and educational opportunity by presenting authentic Cajun/Zydeco music and food representing the culture of Southern Louisiana. Friday opens with thousands of pounds of boiled crawfish and the queen of zydeco, Rosie Ledet, performing at 9:30 pm. Saturday offers watermelon sacrifices and a crawfish eating contest. Sunday lets loose with a jam session featuring Rosie Ledet, Chubby Carrier and Terrence Simeon on stage together.

The cost is only $20 for adults and children, Under 10 are free. A 3 day passes is only $35. Seniors and Military with ID will receive a $2 discount.
