The much-anticipated Marine Environmental Education Center (MEEC) will open on March 3, 2017, at the historic Carpenter House on Hollywood beach. Meet the resident sea turtle, learn through interactive educational displays, take a tour of the facility, or participate in planned programs. The MEEC will be open to the public Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There is a suggested $3/person donation (for ages 3 and up). 954-357-5125 or [email protected].
