JOEATLANTA Show Comes To Atlanta
JOELANTA 2007 is happening! It is bigger and better than EVER! JOELANTA 2007 will happen on Sept 30th and Oct 1st at the Doubletree Hotel Atlanta NW/Marietta. This year’s JOELANTA will offer two jam packed days with over 100 dealer tables, dioramas, custom figures, diorama contests, costumed guests, comic artists, and seminars
We are also excited to announce the expansion of JOELANTA’s Commanders packages to include a meet and greet social Friday night with other collectors and dealers; dinner and the annual film festival on Sat night (as an added bonus one out of every 10 random Commanders will win a free vintage 12″ Adventure Team Gi Joe during Saturday night’s festivities) ; early entry into the dealer room Saturday and Sunday; show exclusive t-shirt; and an exclusive JOELANTA 2007 uniform set. The Commander’s package cost is only $95.00.
Commander’s Aides packages are available for only $37.00 and include a meet and greet social Friday night; dinner and the annual film festival on Sat night; and early entry into dealers room Saturday and Sunday. Please note that the Commander’s Aides package is only available with purchase of a Commanders package.
Dealer tables are priced at: $120 for one table, $240 for two tables and $300 for a booth. All tables are standard six foot tables and will be arranged in a shape. There is easy access to the dealer’s room from the back door. Set-up will be 6am – 9am Saturday and breakdown will be 5pm – 7pm Sunday.

JOELANTA 2007 will offer general admission on Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 5pm. The price of admission is $6 for adults and kids 12 and under are now free. The first 100 kids through the door will receive a free 12″ action figure.

ScreamFest Scares Its Way To Orlando
The 4th Annual Screamfest 2007 has so much in store for you this year.
This year’s location is The Wyndham Resort in Orlando, FL – that’s right – Screamfest is taking over Orlando…and what better weekend than Friday the 13th! That’s October 13-15, 2007.
The place is sure to be filled with some of the biggest Celebrities in horror, the best Horror Writers and Artists! There will be unique seminars, live music throughout the weekend, some of the greatest Independent Filmmakers and their films, a larger Dealer Room than ever before, SpecialFX Artists, classic movies, and many other surprises to be announced.
The doors will open Friday night, the 13th at 6pm. Saturday morning, the 14th, doors will open at 11am. The con will run all through the night until Sunday morning when doors open again at 11am. Schedule of events to be announced at a later date.

Florida Supercon Invades South Florida
Florida Supercon is coming to South Florida. Florida Supercon is a multi-format convention for comic book, anime & sci-fi/fantasy fans taking place November 3, 4 & 5 in Hollywood, FL. The show will include celebrity guests, writers, artists and filmmakers.
The three day show, starting Friday night and ending Sunday, will include celebrity guests, vendors (selling Anime, Comic Books, Toys, DVD’s and more), Q&A’s, film festival, parties, costume contest, giveaways, anime programming, celebrity banquet, workshops, panels and more.
The Florida Supercon has numerous guests including Margot Kidder, Noel Niel, Jack O’Halloran, Gerard Christopher, Cindy Morgan, The Iron Sheil, Dick Giordano, Bob Layton, Bob Mcleod, The Iron Sheik, Allen Bellman, Alex Saviuk, Greg Horn, Samson Burke and many, many more.

“Saturday Morning” At The Museum of Cartoon Art
The Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art (MoCCA) is now in final preparations for the opening of its upcoming exhibition, “Saturday Morning: Art and Artifacts from a Golden Age of Television.” The exhibition, which opens on November 18th, 2007 will celebrate nearly sixty years of television animation with a focus on the “Golden Age” of Saturday morning cartoons, which lasted from 1966 to 1990. The opening reception is scheduled for the evening of November 18th. The private reception is from 7 to 8pm and the doors are open to the public from 8 to 11pm. Admission is $15.
The museum is located at 594 Broadway (between Houston and Prince Streets) in New York City. MoCCA exhibitions are generally open to the public on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays from 12:00-5:00 pm. General admission to the museum is $5 but free for MoCCA Members as well as children 12 and under when accompanied by paying adults.
