Flashdance The Musical

The play, directed and choreographed by Sergio Trujillo, tells the story of Alex, a working-class girl from Pittsburgh who dreams of leaving her life behind to become a professional dancer. The Musical is coming to the stage Tuesday through March 17 at the Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, located at 201 SW Fifth Ave. in Fort Lauderdale. Showtimes are 8 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, 7:30 p.m. Sunday, and a 2 p.m. matinee Saturday, Sunday, and Wednesday, March 13. Tickets cost $39.50 to $79.50.
