Gamer Comic Expo Review

It’s always fun when you see the start of something. Whether it’s the start of a team, a business, or in this case, a new convention. This weekend was the first Gamer Comic Expo held at the Miami Airport Convention Center. This had more of an electronic games feel. Tons of comic book, celebrities and fun and everyone did enjoyed their time.

Security was tight. Anytime that we left and went back in, we had to get frisked each time. This was perfect for the times we are now in. Once we got inside and walked around, we saw that a quarter of the room was taken up by game systems set for a tournament later that day with Fortnite being the main one. They did have some standup video games there and even some classic games. We had a chance to chat with some of the guests such Ashleigh Murray and Mark Texeira. The booths layout was great and easy to get around.

This was a great first year convention as we did enjoy my time there, the people we talked to, the celebrities, the comic book artists and writers and the amazing cosplayers. We also felt that this convention was the first to spotlight gaming and combine a show into one. We would like to see this continue for the next year and hopefully Gamer Comic Expo will have us back again.
