Hall Of Famer Frank Thomas To Attend Wizard World Comic Con Chicago

One of the biggest stars (literally, as he stood at an imposing 6’5″, 240 lbs.), Baseball Hall of Famer Frank Thomas will make his Wizard World debut in Chicago on Sunday, August 21.

Dubbed “The Big Hurt” for his powerful hitting and outsized personality, Thomas smashed 521 career home runs and twice won the American League Most Valuable Player Award (1993, 1994). The five-time All-Star played 19 years in the Majors, including 16 with the Chicago White Sox and was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2014, his first year of eligibility.

His home run total is 19th best in the history of the game, and he ranks 10th all-time in walks (1,667) and 22nd in runs batted in (1,704).
