Phoenix Fan Fest

Fully recognizing the unmatched dedication of Arizona’s wrestling fans, Phoenix Fan Fest is adding even more wrestling stars to its guest list. This time they are adding ultimate superstars John Cena, Daniel Bryan, and the Bella Twins!

John Cena started his pro wrestling career with Ultimate Pro Wrestling (UPW) as “The Prototype” in 1999, and won the UPW Heavyweight Championship in 2000. Cena signed a developmental contract with the WWE (nee WWF) in 2001, debuting on the main roster in 2002. From arrogant and edgy rapper to “goody-two shoes white knight”, Cena has been called the “most polarizing pro wrestler ever” and the “Face of WWE.” Cena has starred in two action films, The Marine (2006) and 12 Rounds (2009). In 2015, Cena received critical praise for his acting skills in the hit comedy, Trainwreck, directed by Judd Apatow and written by the film’s star Amy Schumer.

Brie and Nikki Bella, better known in the WWE world as The Bella Twins, started wrestling professionally in June 2007 with Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW). With WWE, The Bella Twins’ saga has been full of feuding Divas, amorous attention from the men of WWE, and even a feud between them. A favorite Bella Twin signature move is switching places in singles matches if one of them was hurt. The Bella Twins could be seen in single matches, paired matched and even the occasional mixed tag team matches, teaming with WWE men’s wrestling duos, sometimes sparring against each other. Over the years, The Bella Twins, both together and separately have won numerous matches and titles. Both have won the Diva Championship and Nikki’s 301 day record as Diva Champion still stands.

Daniel Bryan was the chosen one of the WWE Universe. Elevated from NXT Rookie to U.S. Champion, to Money in the Bank winner, to World Heavyweight Champion, Daniel Bryan was propelled by the voracious “Yes!” chants of the WWE Universe. The 5-foot-10 bearded bulldog achieved the greatest upset in WrestleMania history when he defeated Triple H, Rondy Orton, and Batista in one night to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Daniel Bryan is a 3-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion, U.S. Champion, WWE Tag Team Champion, and Intercontinental Champion.
